Capitol Building part 2...

So i got to sit in on a session of the Illinois General Assymbly's House of Reps. It was pretty cool, i heard some lady from Canada talk she complimented our state and talked about how important the state of Illinios is to Canada. I also watched somebody vote for something while reading the newspaper, it was pretty funny if you ask me. I know who it was, will you?? Probably Not.

Capitol Building

The first post of the new blog comes from room 312 of the Illinois Capitol Building in Springfield Illiniois. If you know me, you will know that there are only a few things that i like to talk about. Most notable Politics and Swimming, oh and those Cubbies. This is my first time in the Capitol Building not on a tour and i must say its kinda cool. Yes, a pack of Skittles cost $1.05 before tax, but its worth it because i got to eat them in an office directly behind the House Chambers. The funny thing is that i was very lost when i first got here. This building is a maze and i am just a rat looking for cheese. I asked certain people where to go but they only told me to goto room 316. Since i did not know where i was going to went to This guys office. OOPS... Alright time to go meet up some people, I'll keep everyone posted during the day as it goes.

Tribute

Today marks the beginning of Black History Month. They have contributed many important messages to the world from the comedy of Richard Pryor to the politics of Dr. King. Today is a sad day. Still in America and all over the world there is still racial discrimination. If this month teaches any person one thing, hopefully it will be that we are all in this planet together and only through fair and equal treatment will there be major progress!

As of Friday Night ESPN was reporting that Sammy Sosa was traded to the Baltimore Orioles in return for some minor league players. Will be able to sum this trade up after about game 30 or 40.

New Year!! New Blog

Starting on the Conlusion of the NCAA Division 3 Swimming Season there are going to be some major changes to this little old blog. Starting off with new topic and some conversation about what is going on in some classes I am taking with relation to the current news of the day!! And do not forget about those Cubbies!!
